Why Should We Evangelize?
Motivational Speaker
 We should
evangelize out of love for the lost.
- When Jesus
went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and He felt compassion for them because
they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things
(Mark 6:34).
- Jesus' love
and compassion for the lost motivate Him to teach, not just to meet felt needs
by working a miracle.
- Jesus' teaching
is motivated by love and compassion, not a desire to win an argument or appear
intelligent.
Seeing the
people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited
like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest
is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the
harvest to send out workers into His harvest (Matt 9:36).
- Jesus' love
and compassion for people motivates him to pray for more workers to reap the
harvest.
